Questions about business:

1.Why the price is so low?

You are ordering directly from the factory.High quality & save your money..

2.Is the quality guaranteed?

Yes of course. Your complete satisfaction is guaranteed. You have to make the correct choices though. There are several things that can make your first custom hairpiece with a new firm less than perfect. This is the same for one bought in a salon or one bought via mail order. Any problems will be fixed, and if you think you have a unit that has failed to meet your quality expectations, you can have a refund. We never argue about refunds.

3.If I buy online, can I be at risk of unauthorized charges or identity theft?

No. Our server is secure, and your credit card number is encrypted. We don't even get to see that number. Using the Internet's most trusted establishments, we have made you completely safe from fraud.

4.What is your phone number? Can I call someone for help or just a chat?

Of course you can, see the "Contact" page for telephone information. But as a mail order Internet firm, we do hope you contact us via email.

5.Can you keep my template and hair samples so I can reorder quickly?

Yes we prefer to. If we have your template and color on file at the factory, your next order can begin production within a day or two, saving a lot of time.

6.Can you copy my existing unit exactly?

We'd be glad and able to do so. Send it in. Save money.
All units sent in for duplication must be free of glue, tape and adhesive residue and must be shampooed clean, and completely dry.

7.Can I send my unit for repair?

You can send any brand of hairpiece for repair/remake. In general there are two things we cannot do. We do not offer recoloring and permanent wave (curling). However, the factory does not accept all repairs as some requests involve more labor than a new unit, but for a quarter of the price. In these cases we have to decline your repair request.

All units sent in for repair must be free of glue, tape and adhesive residue and must be shampooed clean, and completely dry.

8. How long does it take for a custom hair system?

Custom hair pieces are about 3-4 weeks delivery once we receive your order,
When you order two hair pieces in the same order, it takes 3-4 weeks,
your order will be shipped by Fdex Express or EMS

9. If I send a used hair piece to you to make a copy, will you send it back to me together with the new one without charging the extra shipping ?

If you send us your used hair piece, we can make an exact copy of it, custom duplication $ 349.00(Indian remy human hair, Chinese remy human hair), and send it back with your new piece(if you want), Free shipping and handling!!

10. Do I have to take it off when I get my hair cut?

Our custom hairpieces are Not Ready To Wear when they are delivered. You must get a barber or stylist to cut them and style them for you. All the hairs are the same lengh. The stylist will shape it into the style you want.

Questions about system:

11. Which do you think is the superior attachment method, tapes, clips, or bonding?

The best attachment method will be what the client needs to match his life style and expectations.

It is not uncommon to change the securing method for our clients as their lifestyle changes or they mature in age. They all have a place.

If you want to swim and in a windy environment, we recommend SEMI PERMANENT METHOD, You can wear your hair piece while sleeping, during showers, and while swimming or enjoying your favorite sports, you also must have the hair piece removed, reattached every 2 or 4 weeks.

12. How do I take care of my hair replacement system?

When your system arrives in the mail, you will need to first take it to a hair stylist to have it cut, thinned and blended into your own hair.

Clean your hair piece with a mild shampoo, use cream type Conditioners that do NOT contain Lanolin, polymers, or heavy oils. Use leave on spray conditioner also to keep the hair soft and pliable. Use the deep conditioner once per week to prevent dryness and use the Detangler spray to keep the hair from tangling. And never use any alcohol based styling aids as they will dry the hair.

13.How long do the hairpieces last?

This depends on many factors. Your design choice may be a robust unit or a fine, delicate, barely visible unit. You may care for your unit like a supreme expert, or you may be too rough on it. Some clients get 3 months out of a unit, and others make it last well over a year without much deterioration. Our guarantee period is three months.

Questions about Base design:

14.What is a lace front?

Its a material like extra-invisible nylon stockings that is very hard to see when it is placed against the skin. The hair is knotted into the lace and appears to grow from the scalp. The front edge of a hairpiece is the most important area. It is the part that is always detected if you wear a bad hairpiece. Only a lace front can be trusted to maintain the illusion of growing hair.

15.Do you sell skin type bases?

Yes, we call it Poly Skin. Poly skin is good to use at the edges or if there is an area of mono or lace to let the scalp breathe. It is available in many tints.

16.Can I get an all lace system?

Yes, unless your density is too high for lace. For densities of 80% and below, an all lace base is the best choice, but if you want thicker hair, say 90% to 130% density, there is not a lot of room on the lace for all those knots, so the knots become doubles and singles, and then the lace no longer feels so great to the touch. The 3# monofilament base with poly edges is by far the better choice if you have a density of over 90%. You can add a lace front and have a lighter density for the front edge, just like someone with their own hair would.

17.What about undetectability and strength?

French lace is very hard to detect and quite strong.

18.My skin is very white. Is there a lighter lace?

Our lace is very hard to see against any color skin including the palest and the darkest. It is neutral and transparent.

19.Can I order a clip on?Does it cost more?

If you like that method of attachment, we won't even charge you for those clips. Remember to send a bigger template as the unit will have to overlap onto your remaining hair by at least 1/2". A good tip to avoid traction alopecia is to have the clips in different spots each time you get a new hairpiece.

20.Why do some bases have a poly strip from temple to temple, between the lace front and the center?

For secure attachment, and for long term attachment when only the front is released, cleaned and re-bonded. It is not necessary to have this feature as adhesion is almost never an issue under normal circumstances.

21.Can I get a small partial for the front only?

Yes you can get the tiniest of partials and also pairs of temple partials. Normally partials are the same price as hairpieces, but if they are very small and all lace we can definitely give you a lower custom quote.

22.Can I get a small partial for the crown?

Yes and many people do!

23.What is the best material for the back and side edges?

It's a personal choice. Either Poly-With-Gauze or a double layer of lace work very well. Poly coated is a bit too thick and polyskin can tear and attaching polyskin edges to mono or lace results in a ridge at the join. If your density is 80% or over, poly-with-gauze is a very convenient edge choice. Extra light units are usually better off being all lace.

Questions about wigs:

24 .Can you explain the different kinds of wigs?

The cap is the base of the wig onto which hair is attached. Wigs are available with several different types of caps and the hair of the wig is then attached to the cap using various techniques. Each cap type has its own distinct advantages. On most wigs, hair is attached in "wefts." These are strings of hair doubled over and sewn closely together in long strands. This string is then machine sewn, hand sewn or hand tied horizontally onto the vertical lines of a wig cap.

A standard cap is the most common and most affordable cap design. The layers of hair are machine-sewed onto the cap, which has a closed lace layer at the crown. The hair is pre-designed into a specific style and the crown is often lightly teased or crimped so you cannot see down through to the cap. This type of cap often gives the hair a natural lift at the crown for volume.

A capless wig is very similar to the standard cap design. However, instead of the closed lace layer at the crown, it has vertical lace strips with open spaces between the wefts. The open-wefting in the crown, back, and sides allows for maximum ventilation. This makes the cap lighter weight and cooler than a standard cap.

Monofilament caps are constructed using a thin, breathable nylon or polyester mesh material at the crown that gives the illusion of skin and assumes the wearer's natural scalp color by partially revealing the scalp below. Monofilament caps offer the most natural look as well as styling versatility because each hair is individually hand tied at the crown so the hair can be parted and brushed in any direction. The entire wig may be hand tied, or the wig may have a monofilament crown with wefted sides and back. Monofilament wigs are an especially good choice for those with severe or total hair loss as the cap is soft, unlike cloth material, which can be itchy to those with sensitive scalps.

25. Which should I choose, synthetic or human hair?

Synthetic wigs are easier to care for and lower priced. The monofilament fiber "hair" used to make synthetic wigs has "memory" which means it maintains its wave or curl, texture and volume, requiring minimal upkeep. Synthetic wigs, however, are not designed to accept a permanent wave or color change and can be permanently damaged by the use of curling irons, blow dryers or hot rollers.

A human hair wig is the most natural looking option. It can be cut, styled, permed or colored to suit your personal taste. Human hair wigs are more durable than synthetic wigs. However, human hair wigs are more expensive that synthetic wigs and require more care. They have to be shampooed, dried, styled and conditioned, just like your natural hair. Like your hair, they can lose their style if they get wet and frizz on humid days. If you feel that you are not able to provide the care required of a human hair wig, there are human hair-synthetic blended wigs that offer a natural look and will retain the style better than a 100% human hair wig.

There are four basic types of human hair used in wigs: Chinese, Indian, Indonesian and Caucasian (also called European hair). Most human hair wigs are made from Chinese or Indian hair. Caucasian/European is the strongest, most durable human hair for wig making. However, this type of hair is not as readily available and is the most expensive. Remy hair is kept in the same direction when making a wig or hairpiece as when cut from the donor's head. This additional attention to detail maintains the hair cuticle in the same direction for each hair, which, in turn, reduces tangling.

26. how do I know what size to get?

Average wigs fit heads from 21.5" to 22.5". Ninety-five percent of our customers fall into this range. Your wig should be worn on your natural hairline, approximately four fingers above the eyebrows. The back of the wig should be pulled down to the natural hairline in the back. Wigs have adjustable Velcro and elastic tabs in the back so you can adjust your wig for a secure, comfortable fit. There are also small tabs in the front of the ears that can be adjusted to hold the wig close to the face.

27. How do I achieve a natural look?

Most fashion wigs come with 10% to 30% too much hair, which is why all wigs can benefit from fine-tuning by a professional stylist. Some wigs may require minimal shaping, whereas other wigs may need significant thinning. One of the secrets to successfully wearing a wig a wig is having it professionally styled on your head to suit your features.

28. How do I care for my wig?

When not in use, always store your wig on a mannequin or wig stand to maintain its shape.
Frequency of cleaning will depend on your environment, lifestyle and amount of perspiration. Suggested guidelines for cleaning are after 10 to 14 days of wear. To clean and condition your wig, follow the manufacturer's instructions that come with your wig.

Synthetic and Blended Wigs

Only shampoos, conditioners, hair sprays and other styling accessories designed specifically for synthetic wigs should be used to take care of synthetic hair or blended (synthetic/human) hair wigs. After shampooing and conditioning, make sure to rinse your wig thoroughly in cool water. Always use a soft towel and carefully blot dry (do not scrub). Allow your wig to dry naturally overnight on a wig stand.

Human Hair Wigs

Special products should also be used on human hair wigs because the hair in human hair wigs has been processed several times and is vulnerable to damage. Any high quality shampoo formulated for processed hair may be used, however, wigs.com strongly recommends you use the products made especially for wigs to protect your investment.
